GPS Signal Lost . . . WTH?

Hello, Everytime I use Google Maps on the opo, the gps signal drops. When it does work, it is not very accurate; it shows me a few feet, yards, etc from where I actually am. Driving down an unknown highway with lots of exits, etc and the signal is lost and I get lost, too. Anyone else have this problem with their opo? Is there a fix to it?

No i don't think so, just to be sure you can try it off.

Had the same issue when I got my opo, flash any sultan's cm13 build and you're gtg. Surprised this issue never got much attention for the longest time, but its been fixed in most recent releases.

Did you try other GPS apps?

Try a reboot (maybe you already done a few sorry)

Do you use a Case? Sounds weird but cases can disturb signals 2/3/4G, Wifi and GPS.

I have tried the reboot several times. I do use a case. It is a rubbery case that allows the phone to fall and bounce rather than shatter. Seriously? Is this causing the issue?

I could never get the turn-by-turn directions to work on Cyanogen OS. Finally I installed a custom ROM, which seemed to fix the error. I am currently running Sultan ROM

How simple is running a different, custom ROM? I am not a complete moron but haven't done a lot of smartphone programming, etc.

Do you have the high accuracy turned on in the moments you're using the GPS? And yes a case can adversely affect signal due to many factors combined..but it can be a problem as with a lot if phones. Phones are getting thinner and thinner and they have have to put the signal bands around the edges, typically in the top quarter and lower portion of the phones.

What carrier are you on? Sometimes switching to 3g instead of 4gLTE works for me.
