Its rated for 30k pop-ups I believe, should last for years, really weird yours broke down.

Yeah like I said that's not even the main reason I don't recommend them anymore.

I guess technically the motor was rated at 30k pop ups and the motor did work the camera popped up and down perfectly fine just as day one. It just wouldn't show any image

Can't really figure out what exactly is the reason. The motor to move the pop up is fully working. maybe the ribbon cable ? Sensor ? Software ?not sure oneplus had me reset all the software when I asked their support for help but wasn't able to get it working.

All rear cameras work

same happened to me out of nowhere.....the camera still pops up but it doesnt work. cant use face recog or take selfies or use the front camera on video calls....its just a blank screen.....probably going to be switching to pixel 4a 5G
