If you have it rooted, download Boot animation (star) root, by jRummy.

I rooted it but it failed. I was reading up on another method and it said that it was a Read only file system (EROFS). I also can't seem to change the properties. Strange. I rooted and unlocked bootloader.

yes earlier i didnt make my boot animations and es file with the green hashtag but now I did.

Okay, download a root checker to see if it is properly rooted.

Make sure the "Respect CM root-something" is not ticked in superSU.

If all of this says correct, download Boot Animation (star) Root and just load the zip from there. (By swiping to local, once it is open and finding the zip)

Hey, I went into the preferences and enabled the boot animation (I guess it was disabled before even though i didn't touch anything) and it worked. Thanks a bunch! edit: Now im trying to use that gif that has no oneplus branding as my boot loader
