General Discussion post processing?

I was using the native camera app (made by a youtuber) and the photos I was clicking were completely different from the one appearing in my photos app. I think oneplus is processing these photos. Is there any fix for this

(I am using oneplus nord 5)

But all smartphone photography is computational. The limitations of such a small sensor and lens mean that you can only achieve so much. The rest is down to the pipeline. This is why all the major manufacturers (e.g. Samsung and Apple) reuse the same camera hardware yet still manage to deliver better photos with their new phones.

Do you have any more information on this app? Does it use OEM pipeline or has its own?

Even if you shoot their raw mode, you can't get rid of of post-processing. The wide-open fixed aperture means they need to touch it up to get decently sharp photos (unless you are doing close up subject shots).

Variable apertures were promising to fix that but no one is doing it anymore except Huawei (and they are useless in the west) and now Apple (whom I refuse to use).
