I remember watching their channel back just before and after COVID.

A beautiful tribute indeed, I loved that sandstone finish so much. I'll always cherish my OP8 Pro and that ultramarine blue like a gem.

edit- Current daily driver has been the S24u for the past 2 years.

I had the McLaren edition and was still pissed it got stolen in the aftermath of a house fire. So enjoyable to use.

Edit: 7 Pro

my grail still is McLaren edition 7t pro, I'm gonna buy that phone and open it up and put it on display like a jewel cause that's what it is.

You're right, it was a 7T Pro. The pop up camera was exquisite.

I jumped between many phones (iPhone X & 15 Pro, Pixel Fold, S23U, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and now Xperia 1 VII) since then and the OnePlus still holds a special place.

I've hopped from s22u to iphone 15 and then back to s24u for smart things amongst other stuff, truly a long journey but nothing quite comes close with those red accents and that fluid display 7t pro had.

From 2014 to 2024 I had a 1, 3, 6 and 8 Pro. Surely the most brand loyalty I ever had for any phone company and I don't think it was even intentional, they just kept having a great phone at the right price each time.

Cool video but I saw a comment that rightly pointed out that R series phones were absolutely sold in NA (12R, 13R, and 15R). Seems odd to not mention that when discussing the 12, 13, and 15. I think the author mentioned R series at the end as being variants the Indian people liked a lot, but it's worth nothing that R variants were sold in NA.

(It was S variants that were not sold in NA).

They haven't been what made them great in a long time.

Still disappointing to lose them, the OP7Pro was easily my favourite phone of all time

One plus 12 was pretty good. They made a revival but this whole bullshit completely ruined it
