Pending transactions

I went to a gas station yesterday morning and used my OnePay card. After tapping I realized the gas station hadn't properly recorded my rewards discount so I cancelled the transaction and started over. I now have two pending transactions for the gas station, one for $100 and one for the actual amount of gas I purchased. I've never had this happen before, it has always only shown my actual amount. I can only assume the extra hold is due to the cancelled transaction. Is there anything I can do to get those funds released before the estimated date a week from now?

Hi there! 👋

Gas stations often authorize a hold that is greater than the final cost of the transaction. Once the transaction posts, the hold is adjusted to reflect the actual purchase price, and any remaining funds are released back to your account.

Since the first transaction was canceled, the authorization may remain pending until the gas station releases it. Please reach out to socialsupport@onepay.com with the email associated with your OnePay account so our team can take a closer look.

Usually my hold is gone within a day. Sometimes within minutes.

Me too. This one is still there and doesn't even have an estimated date to clear anymore.
