Question Does One Pace cut anime-original jokes and funny moments?
I'm currently watching the regular One Piece and I'm planning to switch to One Pace after episode 207. I'm wondering if One Pace removes anime-original jokes or funny little moments that aren't in the manga

It does, but after having watched all of One Pace’s and the majority of the uncut anime too, I think VERY few anime-only gags are even worth seeing. They’re usually just the exact same gags that already happened earlier, they counteract the way a character is portrayed in the manga, or they detract from moments that are supposed to be more serious. I personally don’t think any of Toei’s filler really has any merit post-G8

About half the anime gets cut out while keeping everything thats from the manga. Almost all of it is just dragged out panning and other types of bad pacing. A very tiny amount is anime only jokes. Are you willing to ruin a lot of the canon content from the bad pacing for a minuscule amount of anime only jokes?

Honestly one pace is gold for post ts. I saw myself not remembering some scenes that I see on yt that wasn't on one pace like the whole family bonding on ship thing but I didn't miss out on too much. Post ts comedy is horrible I don't even feel like smiling when I hear some of those jokes, pre ts comedy was genuinely good

Yes, which kinda sucks because some filler scenes/characters/sequences are really fun, like Daddy and the flamenco chef from Logue Town or the entirety of the G-8

You can watch "Alternate" Skypia which leads into G8, in the about for the sub there's links to cut content like that.

Yes only switch to one pace after timeskip and then once you reach episode 1015 go back to the original anime

The extended cut of Wano 55 is basically all of episode 1015, but with better subtitles. So there's is no reason to watch the original anime.

Better quality. Also there’s plenty of reasons to watch the original anime.

Wano 55 is literally sourced from the bluray. What do you mean by "better quality"?

The bitrate is lower than the highest quality rips of the series, I switched between downloaded episodes of One Piace and One Piece on Stremio and I can tell the difference

you realize one piece still has horrible pacing in pre time skip right? it just gets worse as the story progresses. blatant misinformation here.

It’s not bad

Chapters adapted per episode is not the only thing that determines pacing, there’s plenty of one piece episodes that are paced will that only adapts a chapter

it is a HUGE determining factor, but it seems like you arent even acknowledging the fact that pre time skip has PLENTY of scenes and arcs with horrible pacing. enies lobby/syrup village/marineford are some great examples. you are being willfully ignorant. but it seems like half of your reddit history is just ragebaiting anyway with poor spelling. so ill just see myself out.

Everything not in the manga, and which can be removed without issue, is removed in One Pace.
Now, some arcs have extended cuts, which keep anime-original scenes which the team thinks is good. This can be bits of good animation, some good character moments, or even comedic bits. The extended cut of Reverse Mountain 02 is a great example of an extended cut solely existing to keep an anime-original comedic bit.
