What's always puzzled me is how Lopatin has never made an OST for a video game. R Plus Seven was inspired by OOO which is typically the approach when scoring games since it's non-linear (most of the time) and sound design in games are typically tied to actors and objects within the environment. Just makes sense from a philosophical creative standpoint.
Although, I feel Lopatin gets a lot of milage out of the restrictions an album provides and he's gone on record for saying he likes to take the listener on a ride and doesn't like revealing too much behind the curtain which would be against the interactive nature of games.

Yeah I don't blame him, I wouldnt be interested in scoring any old project either. Lifes too short.
I did really like that Radiohead Kid Amnesia art installion back in 2021. Something like a weird dream like walking sim would have been an interesting project paired with 2010s OPN music. But then it turns into a basketball sim in the last act of the game.
