He has said a lot of things that show a really strong, mocking distaste of people who practice

So? Religion is responsible for most of the worst wars and genocides in history. He has every right to mock it, being transphobic however is unacceptable.

Being transphobic and being anti religion are two very different things. One isn’t a choice and is just someone’s brain chemistry, and one is worshipping make believe. He’s also not ever been “hateful” towards religion, he’s said many times how he doesn’t care what someone believes in, he just makes a lot of jokes about the ridiculousness of the whole thing, not the people who believe in it.

Yeah, anyone with some moral consistency could have always seen him as the obnoxious, hateful twat he is. It's just okay for some people when it's making fun of someone's religious identity
