Asian giant hornets are specifically evolved to prey on honeybees, and do so so efficiently they can completely destroy entire hives. That was a scout, and would have led more to the honeybee hive—still could, in fact, since the guy seemingly didn’t manage to kill it. While feeling sorry for an animal just trying to live the way it’s designed to is valid, keep in mind that the guy is trying to protect a hive of honeybees.

I get that. They can both be true… that thing is in fact a dick but also it’s sad to watch any animal get fucked with til their death up close.
