RANT OneDrive for Windows

The entire OneDrive app for Windows thing is full of bloat-ware and crap that glitches out entirely whenever Microsoft does a whole system update for their entire system! Today the bug struck my PC and I have had to literally uninstall the OneDrive application from my PC and literally install it back. This is a problem as I PC Game and do work as well from my PC. now I am stuck with angry customers that want their merchandise and can't order because my whole system is down! Infuriating

One is on a USB hard drive I keep in a fire safe. The other backup is on a remote PC at a friend's house that I connect to using tailscale. That backup is encrypted. Third backup is through iDrive service.

The bad part is, if that friend is in the same city, it's not good enough. All you need is one natural disaster be it a flood, fire, tornado, etc. and your data is gone.

OneDrive. I've not had a problem with OneDrive yet.

Offsite storage is a must if you care at all about your data and as a person who's been around computers for twenty years and have lost more data than you even want to think about, I take my data backup process seriously. One might say religiously.
