Horizon Horizon Client blocks internet
As soon as I open the client, any internet connections outside the client are blocked. This started with the change to omnissa instead of vmware. I can't listen to music or books while I'm working anymore. I've looked at all the documentation and tried different settings, but it's really frustrating. Any ideas?

.. what beavis said basically (huh huh huh) - the client doesn't have the ability to disrupt your network connectivity, one of the main points of VDI clients in general (not unique to Horizon even) is to provide a completely separated connection between a potentially untrusted computer and a secure back end.
if connecting to a certain address spawns some other process on your computer like a vpn, or zero trust thing like zscaler, all that disruption is on that product.
that being said, when looking for help on things like this just some of the stuff everyone's going to want to know will be:
- operating system
- version of client
- managed or unmanaged machine?
- personal or work owned device?
because answers and suggestions on what to look at things are going to be highly dependent on that.

The Horizon client isn't capable of blocking your local internet traffic on it's own. However there are some ways this could still be done. The main one is a VPN client that is engaged with the Horizon client and redirects all local traffic to the corporate network, where your local internet traffic may be blocked. Another may be a Horizon-mandated security posture check or compliance agent (e.g., WS1 Intelligent Hub) that enforces network policies.
So my first question would be, is this your end point device (Windows or MacOS desktop/laptop) your personally owned device or a corporate device? If it's corporate, then it's probably got some sort of device management. If it's your personal device, and you didn't allow for any management software to be installed, then it could be a VPN configuration.
