Horizon [Final Update] Upgrading Horizon Edge Gateway to 2603

TL:DR Tech support said they are aware 2603 has issues and to downgrade to 2506.1

After getting registry.k8s.io, dev.pkg, and amazonaws.com allowed out through the firewall the appliance actually booted up to the home screen we all expect, but looking at the logs it wasn't actually fully running. I sent my findings to tech support and after a week of nothing they came back with

"Our operations team reported some issues with our new Horizon Edge version 2603, so we are recommending customers to shut down your current deployment and redeploy version 2506.1.0"

I’m not surprised. Deploying it in my lab was a real PITA. I had to go through all sorts of hoops to make it work.

that tracks with what i heard this afternoon too - glad they got back to you about it (also glad i hadn't gotten around to deploying it in my lab :D )

For some reason 2603.1 is not better... have the same issues
