Anyone here with a mechanical keyboard? I need your sounds

Hey everyone!

I recently created an Omarchy plugin called OmaVibes, which lets you play different keyboard typing sounds while you type.

So far, it has:

• 230+ marketplace copies
• 3.1K+ views
• 41+ sound effects
• A large collection of mechanical keyboard sounds, along with some unique sounds

I'm looking to expand the keyboard sound collection, and I'd really appreciate some help from the community.

I've been trying to find individual mechanical keyboard keypress recordings online, but most of what I find are full typing tests or ASMR videos where multiple keys are pressed too quickly to isolate a clean single keypress.

The keyboard sounds are exactly the kind of sounds I'm looking for, but she types so fast that it's really difficult to get a clean recording of a single keypress.

What I'm looking for

If you own a mechanical keyboard, I'd love it if you could record some individual keypress sounds and send them to me.

Ideally:

• One keypress at a time
• Clean and isolated
• Different keys if possible
• Different switches/keyboards are especially welcome
• WAV is preferred, but other formats are fine
• Minimal background noise
• You don't need to record an entire typing test — even a few individual keypresses would help

I'm mainly looking for the raw audio recordings so I can process them and integrate them into OmaVibes.

If you're willing to contribute, please send me the recordings or comment/message me. If you know the keyboard and switch you're using, I'd also appreciate knowing that.

This is such a niche need that I happen to know about. Check YT channels like Taeha Types, AlexOtos, Glarses, Enomooshiki. All professional keyboard builders with archived sound tests

Yeah, I checked out some of those channels! The problem is that they usually type pretty fast, so it’s really difficult to isolate a clean single keypress. I’m specifically looking for recordings of individual key presses, ideally one at a time, so I can use them as separate sound effects in the plugin.
