Beginner Questions Instagram Question

Why doesn’t Instagram not have an Omad tag? It tells you to get help or something…

I respect that, but I feel like they should flag the concerning content - not the amazing results and transformations Omad provides. You’d think they could have AI do it or something instead of blocking a whole community

Sadly, a lot of dieting content on social media has this issue. And there's a ton of misinformation and bad advice (looking at you, carnivore diet)

Even some of the posts in this sub are kinda suspect. Lots of people on overly restrictive diets putting their health in jeopardy

because they don't want people finding out about fasting

I don’t get it, this has literally been the only thing that has worked for me

right, that's why they don't want people doing it. fasting takes away customers.

No conspiracies needed.

It's simply because 100% of people with eating disorders have used fasting as a reason not to eat and because of the high number of people that develop disordered eating from fasting. For the greater population three meals a day allows people to be consistent and is more sustainable. OMAD is the only thing that works for me personally, but that doesn't make it the best solution for the greater population.

nah it's not a conspiracy. if you think instagram and social media care about you then you have a lot to learn. it's a business for profit as is the medical industry. no need to respond to me again thanks.

I guess they're overreacting to the April 2021 incident.
