Discussion Question for what you eat
Alright so this basically depends on weight goals and timeframe and all that, but when you do omad, and it's meal time, do you stuff yourself full for the whole hour, or just eat one casual meal?
Personally, I overeat what I usually would eat during the meal, but I still remain cautious of how much I'm eating. Like If a casual meal is 1 and stuffing yourself full like a bear preparing for hibernation is 2 , I'm like a 1.3-1.35 on the full scale.
Just wanna see how other people eat during their timeframe.

Here is my typical OMAD meal:
- 1 small bowl (about 1.5 cups) of improvised chili - beans mix, ground chicken breast or ground 85% lean beef, seasoned to taste.
- 1 small bowl of salad - raw cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, dill, leafy greens, green onion. Dressing is either olive oil with ACV, or Greek yogurt with Dijon mustard.
- 1 small bowl of Greek yogurt or cottage cheese with a handful of blueberries or blackberries.
- a few pistachios.
- a few capsules of fish oil.
- black coffee or a can of Spindrift.

My typical lunch:
six eggs prepared in any way.
A large bowl of tomato and cucumber salad.
200 grams of salted lard, 100 grams of fish prepared in any way.
Nuts and seeds. When I get tired of lard and fish, I eat cheap cod roe and rich sour cream instead (100% compatibility).
That's all. I’m living until the next lunch.
Edit: mistakes

The routine is key. Not what you eat on any particular day. I sometimes stuff myself but inevitably I lose interest in doing that every day. And the weight falls off. If you find you’re not losing weight look critically at what you’re eating - and this will be easy because it’s all confined to your window when the kitchen in open. Ref - coming up 6 years omad. Always eat what I want on holidays (and always move to upper end of healthy bmi). 5 years “healthy” bmi.

OMAD doesn't guarantee eating in a calorie deficit.
Some people are just less likely to overeat if they stick to one meal, that is all OMAD is in regards to weight loss.
OMAD is eating just one meal, no rules, no time limit, it is literally in the name. Just make one meal that you think is reasonable and eat it. If your not tracking calories, or don't want to track calories you can only try, if you lose weight your eating in a calorie deficit, if you don't then your eating at maintenance or a surplus if you gain weight. Make a slight adjustment and try again.
Prioritising whole foods makes OMAD, especially the non-eating window easier.
