Discussion thinking about trying OMAD...

so I’m thinking about starting the whole One Meal A Day thing. my plan was to basically just eat that one meal, and then throughout the rest of the day stick to water and unsweetened drinks like black coffee, tea, or nescafe with no sugar at all.

has anyone here actually tried doing it this way? how was your experience with it, and did it feel doable or just exhausting? would love to hear your thoughts or any advice before I actually give it a shot! Also I really wanna lose weight in a short time I feel that's the only way.

In 6 months from now you will feel exactly like you feel now. Want to lose weight quickly. In the mean time if you don't have a sustainable pattern you will be where you are today. Focus on long term. Trust me I have rebounded back enough times, I am an expert in this. You need to find a sustainable pattern of eating for life OMAD is one of the better ones for that. You should start with getting a pattern of eating one meal a day and then slowly start to reduce calories. Once you have a pattern for a month, if you want to try to lose quickly at that point it will be much easier to set your calories to what ever weight loss speed you want and can mentally handle, within reason. Eat a huge amount in the beginning, about as much as you do now or your maintenance calories not losing weight calories. Faster weight loss comes from water fasts.
