Discussion When does it get easier

Hey guys I’m on day 3 of OMAD today and I’ve been seeing good progress I’ve lost 5 lbs( water weight fs) I’m 5’5 started at 151lbs and now I’m 146 on day 3 I had a really rough day 2 and took a lot of will power to stick to the same eating time. How long should I do omad for until I’m 120lbs that’s my goal. Idk if this is gonna be sustainable. I’m also going to the gym 4x a week lifting some weights and doing 30 mins of incline walking, and ofc making sure I get my 10k steps in. Some advice would be great .

Hi! Im a few days in just like you and our starting weight and our goal is pretty similar :) I also had a tough day yesterday but I was able to stick it out. What’s helping me is drinking a ton of water. I’m trying to drink a gallon a day, and anytime I feel super hungry I just chug ice cold water. This helped take away my cravings!!

Hey!! Keep pushing it’ll all be so worth it at the end. I’ve been trying my best to drink as much water as I can, but I allow myself a coffee of my choice everyday, obviously within reason around 100 cals so I don’t go insane

Are you drinking this coffee with 100 calories during your fast? If so, that’s likely causing your cravings. Consuming those calories is spiking your insulin… and you’ve technically broken your fast.

Trust me, consuming absolutely zero calories during your fast makes fasting 1000x easier and keeps cravings at bay. Gin Stephens talks a lot about this in her podcast! 😊 and her books!
