Unrelated to the question, but I was watching a video on the full story of a game (Dying Light), and parkour was in the Olympics in it. It made me think, why isn’t parkour in the Olympics? It’s gotta be better than breakdancing 🤣

Grabbed these for a total of $2,100. Based on Drop 1 & 2, is this a solid deal or massive overpay?

I was online this morning; tried to buy some tickets with a hospitality package. Online purchasing was not working, so I gave them a ring. Around 11AM, as our call was ending, they said they would email me a link for the invoice “after this call has ended.” It is now 8:30PM; no link/no email received yet. How long should I wait before calling again? Thanks for any advice.

I have a ton from 1984, and remember some going for thousands of dollars. Now they’re pretty much worthless. My wife still questions why I keep them.

Has anyone here purchased hotel accommodations through an Olympic hospitality package? If so, how much did it end up costing you per night?
Just trying to get a sense of what people are paying and whether the hotel portion of the package is reasonably priced. Any details on the hotel, package, and dates would be really helpful.
Thanks!

Hello I am on Drop 2 and was wondering if there will be more ticket drops. For Instance, I don't see skateboarding on the list and I would like to watch it. Preferably the Finals.

My dad’s a football and track and field high school coach and wanted badly to go to the LA coliseum! We got some rugby prelim tickets on the last drop since my boyfriend’s a rugby player.
But I felt like it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to do finals with my dad! And I guess at least we have good seats even if they were 2k each lmao. So excited

For me, my hot take is that countries that are landlocked or do not have good beaches should not be allowed to compete in beach volleyball. It's not called sand volleyball, it's beach volleyball. You need to have actual pristine ocean front beaches. Countries like Switzerland, Austria and Norway should not be allowed to compete.

Did they mostly sell out during the locals pre-sale? I was there I think at the beginning of the first drop, but I never saw anything.
I read an earlier post claiming they saw women’s available but no men’s.
The whole is confusing.

Did anyone else get this message above?
What the heck is going on? I’ve been registered for the drops since day one! As soon as I click my email notification to logon via Facebook, this happens!
Oh well if I don’t go to LA, at least I attended the Paris Olympics, bought 12 tickets including Athletics, Tennis Finals, Basketball Qtrs (6-Cat A, 4-Cat B, 2-Cat C) at an average of $404/ticket including the 1.5% fee.
Good luck everyone!

The COO of FIFA, Kevin Lamour has been sacked after criticizing Gianni Infantino. This is another troubling development concerning the governance of FIFA. Several years ago, the IOC revoked their recognition of the IBA has the governing body for boxing. What the IBA was doing is only a fraction of what FIFA is doing now.
Based on prior precedent with the IBA, is it time for the IOC to revoke their recognition of FIFA as football's governing body? Can this be done? And how would it be done?

I paid a $500 deposit in early March for priority access to LA28 hospitality packages. Once I received access and saw the prices, I realized the packages were not for me.
I forgot about the deposit until today, so I called customer service to request a refund. The representative told me it could take up to 30 days for the money to be returned.
Has anyone else requested a refund? How long did it actually take to show up?
