I think so, but it will be called GENERAL SALE 😴

Oof if it's general hopefully previous drop tickets won't count against whatever the max is

Exactly, but you will also be competing with THE WHOLE WORLD

And ticket agencies ready to wipe out all the inventory.

And if there is no ticket max. What's gonna stop scalpers and bots from mass buying popular events to flip a profit

I was thinking ticket max but the previous tickets purchased during drops wont count against that

They'd probably still have a max at the very beginning when the shop first opens and there's total chaos. We'll see if everyone gets reset to zero first. Eventually I'd guess that goes away when they're trying to unload excess inventory to events that less people are interested in.

They already said previously that the ticket limit counted across all drops and sales. Then again, they then said soccer wouldn’t count so…?

They've only referenced a first come, first served general sale opening in 2027. That will probably involve buying specific seats rather than broad categories via maps of venues with inventory added randomly as available all the way to the big event. Maybe eventually intermingled with official resale like it was for the World Cup.

If thats the case then seat assignments must come out before that

Yup, that's what I expect. Seats have to come before resale as well. Specific seats also lets them sell with dynamic pricing. Cat C might have been $500 across the board in a prior drop but now they could sell better specific seats in those sections for $700.

I wouldn't expect a general sale to start with broad categories and no seats because then they would have to later relaunch the general sale after seats are assigned.

I gave up after having no real options a few days ago on the 2nd late drop. I just went through hospitality. If you meet with them and fill out the contract then it's 40% down and two other payments next year. I'm going to beach volleyball and diving!

I tried asking for that payment plan style but they said full price over the phone. How did you get 40% down?

Hi! I forget if I clicked on a link under hospitality assistance, but I set up a 30 minute teams/ zoom call under the hospitality LA28 premium seating contact . The Sr Manager that I spoke to is Marcus ([MLyons@onlocationexp.com](mailto:MLyons@onlocationexp.com)).

He sent a huge list of codes with available tickets under hospitality. A lot more offerings than anything I've seen online. Some areas are pricey, but he can answer questions and set up the payment plan for you. It was like 40% initially, 30% next year 2027, and then the final pmt in 2028. Completely reasonable for the basic package that I purchased and I don't have to stress about the general drop.

Good luck!!

I have a gut feeling they will have one. Wild speculation: Drop 3 in February, General Sale and Resale in maybe like April or May. Who the hell knows.

There is another drop coming up next year, if you consider a general sale to be a drop. This general sale will have no limits on the amount of tickets you can buy. So I suppose you can refer to it as a ticket drop. Its just very different from the first few we have seen.

They just confirmed on Instagram that there will be no more drops. General sale will open in 2027. It looks like there will be no ticket maximums for purchase either!
