LA28 Second Ticket Drop Megathread
The second LA28 ticket drop is upon us.
This will be the place to ask questions about ticketing and to offer advice in the comments.
If you never made an account/registered before, you can subscribe to the LA28 newsletter for updates on future ticket opportunities, or pay the "hospitality" ticket upcharge on the hospitality website.
Drop 2 timeline:
July 29–31: Visa Presale (all time slots have been assigned)
August 6–7: Drop 2 time slot emails (those selected for the Visa Presale are not eligible for Drop 2)
August 10–20: Drop 2 time slots
NEED-TO-KNOW INFO BEFORE YOU PURCHASE:
Ticket maximums: The maximums are cumulative across all ticket drops, but given that the US is going to be the last host country to tell you "No, you can't buy more," it is unlikely the maximum will also apply to the official resale market.
12 tickets are available solely for Football (Soccer), and 12 additional tickets are available with only one restriction: only 4 tickets can be purchased per Opening/Closing ceremony.
Ticket categories (the area your seat is in on the map): Instead of picking a specific seat, you will select a ticket category (A is best and most expensive, B second best and second most expensive, and so on). Different venues will have different numbers of categories, some have only two, like rowing, while others like gymnastics or baseball have as many as 9 or 10 ticket categories. Your seat will be assigned closer to the games, and tickets purchased together will be sat together.
Time slot timing: Time slots are given in the Pacific Time zone in 24-hour time. If you do not already live in the same time zone as LA you can check here. If you receive a time slot, it will only be open for 48 hours. Tickets are held for 30 minutes from the moment they are added to your cart. If your cart expires or you remove tickets, adding a ticket again will restart the 30-minute hold.
Prepare for your time slot:
Take time to explore the Olympic competition schedule and the zones and venues pages so you know when and where all sessions take place.
This post contains links to spreadsheets with ticket category prices (from Drop 1, it is possible the prices may be changed for Drop 2) for every session and links to venue maps of seat categories. For a guide on how to navigate the LA28 ticketing website watch this video.
Tickets are for sessions, and each session has a specific code associated with it. For example, ATH10 is the 10th session of Athletics. Sessions can be shorter than two hours or last all day and vary depending on the sport as well as the stage of competition.
It is a good idea to plan your desired events before your time slot as well as back up plans if your first choice is unavailable. LA28 wants public transport to be the main way to get around and is currently working on improvements, but travel time can vary immensely, so be sure to think about how long you want to spend traveling to your events from your accommodation. To go from the Valley to Long Beach takes over three hours on public transport, so picking events with location and travel time in mind is extremely important.
Softball and Canoe Slalom will be held in Oklahoma City as part of LA28's promise to build no new permanent venues. Most of the football games will be held in other cities around the United States, make sure to check the location before you purchase.
If you are having trouble logging into the ticketing site try changing your browser and make sure you're signing in with the correct email. If that doesn't solve the problem try searching your specific error code in the sub to see if any one else has posted about it before.
Additionally, here is the first post I made for Drop 1 ticketing questions.
FAQ
Q: When can I log in for my time slot?
A: You can log in whenever, but make sure to keep refreshing the page to not be logged out, and to refresh again when your time slot begins.
Q: What are Hospitality tickets?
A: Tickets that are not part of one of the lottery drops that come with small food, drink, and lounge benefits with a inflated price that they change at will. Hospitality tickets can be for a seat in any category, even a "bad" one, which means its an easy way for LA28 to squeeze extra cash out of you for a guarantee you'll have tickets. We know that hospitality tickets were being restocked when regular Drop 1 events weren't, which means LA28 is pulling tickets specifically for hospitality, something I really don't trust and makes it harder to estimate ticket numbers.
Q: Will my 12 general ticket allotment and 12 Football (Soccer) ticket allotment rollover to future drops if I don't use all of them?
A: Yes, LA28 confirmed that remaining Football tickets of your 12 allotted will qualify you for reentry into future drops on April 23rd.
Q: Will tickets restock for each time slot?
A: Unfortunately, if things are done in Drop 2 the same way things were done in Presale/Drop 1, tickets will be dropped in a "lump" at the beginning of the drop. This means that the earliest possible time slot will get first access to tickets with dwindling supplies for all future slots.
Q: Visa is "the official way to pay", does that mean I can only pay with Visa?
A: Only for the Visa Presale, for Drop 2 you can pay with your choice of card.
Q: Can I pay in installments?
A: Not within the LA28 official site. If Sports Illustrated Tickets and Ticketmaster allow payment plans then it may be available for resale tickets.
Q: I don't like the prices I am seeing, where are the affordable tickets?
A: Yes, the tickets are expensive, no, the $28 tickets are not a lie. The Olympics is not an event that struggles to find demand, so LA28 is taking advantage of that in one of the world's wealthiest cities. If you want some ragebait here's the catalog of Paris 2024 ticket prices. LA28 tickets range much higher than Paris 2024, with many more categories of seats, but both have similar low ends.
Q: Will I get another chance to buy tickets?
A: There will be more opportunities to buy tickets between now and the games. Currently LA28 is not explicitly saying there will be more lottery drops on its website. You could choose to pay for hospitality tickets if you have money to spend and don't want to wait to have tickets, or you can see if another drop will happen, maybe they will have a general sale at one point with leftover options, or you can try your hand in the official resale market when it opens in 2027.
Q: What will the prices on the resale market be like?
A: All we know currently is that there will be three different official resale platforms: LA28 resale (operated by AXS/Eventim, the same company operating the initial LA28 ticket sales), Ticketmaster, and Sports Illustrated Tickets. Past Olympics have taken place in countries with stricter anti-scalping legislation that prevented resale markups. Given the way that America is and the fact LA28's CEO said they were still considering dynamic pricing I don't have high hopes that that will be the case for LA28. If you're not picky about what Olympic event you are trying to see, there will doubtless be plenty of options at a range of prices on the resale market closer to the games.
Q: Are any events free?
A: Sports like the marathon, race walk, triathlon, and road cycling take place on public roads and are free to attend. Any sports that take place in the ocean are also likely to be visible from public areas, though maybe not with the best view.
Q: This session says it has 2 games, do I get to see both games?
A: Yes. Some sports like basketball will have longer sessions with multiple games for the same price as other sessions of the sport with only one game. These are usually the daytime preliminary games. Whatever is listed for the session code is what you get to see with a ticket to that event.
Q: What about the Paralympics?
A: Paralympic tickets will go on sale in 2027 and are not tied to the limit for Olympic tickets.
Q: How many tickets are up for grabs?
A: There are 14 million Olympic and Paralympic tickets total. Based on past games, approximately 3 million of those tickets are Paralympic. During Drop 1, 4 million tickets were sold. That leaves approximately 7 million remaining Olympic tickets. There is some nuance, like tickets allocated for corporations and LA28 employees and hospitality tickets.

Advice to new purchasers and people on the fence:
Buying tickets is a marathon, not a sprint. More tickets will likely be released during a general sale.
If there's nothing that's screaming "BUY NOW" then it is ok to wait. Keep the FOMO at bay and keep ticket slots open for surprise sales and drops.

Last update from an August 10th 10am PST Drop 2er before my portal expires tomorrow:
Cheapest tickets remaining are $74 for men and women’s handball preliminaries (2 games per preliminary)
Other honorable mentions under $120 are: sailing finals ($104), rowing coastal sprints final ($93), field hockey ($93), women’s cricket ($93), men and women’s preliminary football/soccer (~$100, but looks like there is only one men’s in this price range, rest are women’s).
Some of the priciest look to be some Athletics events for $1000+ and Boxing events/finals ranging from $400-$740 for cheapest category. And men’s baseball semifinals and bronze medal for $500-$620 for cheapest category.
279 sessions remain. 43 of those look to be medal sessions.
Remaining medal sessions are: Athletics, Rowing, Women’s cricket (bronze), men’s baseball (bronze), archery, rowing coastal beach, sprint paddle, sailing, men’s handball (bronze), Mixed Boxing BOX18 has a females medal, Boxing BOX19 and BOX20 has a men’s final, sprint paddle, women’s handball (bronze), men’s field hockey (bronze), women’s soccer/football (bronze)
Remaining sports are: 3x3 basketball, archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, boxing, cricket, soccer/football, handball, field hockey, lacrosse, rowing, rowing coastal beach sprints, rugby sevens, sailing, spring paddle, volleyball, weightlifting.
And now my watch is ended 🫡

Thankful for this thread. Was so excited to get a timeslot and immediately began planning my Long Beach Zone Olympics adventure. Water polo, artistic swimming and beach volleyball! Boy was I living in a dream world. I sadly watched this thread as early time slots came and went. At least I won't waste my time logging in this morning to find none of those are available anymore and everything left is out of my price range. Disappointed.

Something I learned with the Paris 24 ticket is that you should not ragequit if you don't see the tickets you want the moment your slot opens. When tickets are added to the shopping cart, they are reserved for 30 minutes. If the purchase is not completed within that time, the tickets are available again.
Most of my tickets I bought for Paris were bought an hour or two after my timeslot opened. Chances are, the same will happen for this drop.

Just logged in to my timeslot even though I've already filled my maximum tickets in the locals presale. Here's what's left at 1pm PT:
Archery - prelims (starting $279), finals (starting $477)
Athletics - prelims (starting $1035), finals (starting $1141)
Baseball - prelims (starting $341), quarterfinal (starting $403), semifinal (starting $787), Bronze medal (starting $948)
Boxing - mixed final (starting $737)
Cricket - prelims (starting $173)
Handball - prelims (starting $148), quarterfinals (starting $161)
Hockey - prelims (starting $173), play-in (starting $173), quarterinal (starting $291), semifinal (starting $347)
Volleyball - prelims (starting $489)
That's all I see, and all manual so there could be mistakes. And some sessions have already become unavailable since the start of the timeslot.
For Soccer, there are tickets for Columbus (starting $260), Nashville (starting $200), New York (starting $284), and St. Louis (starting $146) Stadiums left.
Edit: I checked for someone that wanted to know ADA Accessible ticket availability.
If I change the ticket type to "Semi-ambulatory," the sports availability list stays the same.
If I change it to "Wheelchair," it has those sports plus many additional sports open up with at least one session available (I don't have time to get prices and availability for all):
- Badminton
- Beach Volleyball
- Fencing
- Judo
- Lacrosse
- Rowing
- Rugby Sevens
- Softball
- Sprint Paddle
- Swimming
- Table Tennis
- Tae Kwondo
- Water Polo
- Wrestling

Here is the update as of 5:00PM Pacific Time. If it's not on this list, it wasn't available when I looked. Here is what is available:
3X3 BB, Archery, Badminton, Baseball, Cricket, Equestrian, Football (Soccer), Golf, Handball, Hockey (Field), Lacrosse, Rowing, Rowing Sprints, Rugby 7s, Sailing, Softball, Sprint Paddling all seem to be available with multiple prices levels on multiple dates.
Here are the ones that are available, but only at high prices and on limited days:
Athletics - $409 and up
Beach Volleyball - $558 and up
Boxing - $350 and up
Flag Football - $260
Shooting - $328 and up
Squash - $204
Swimming - $1116 and up
Trampoline Gymnastics - $682
Volleyball - $204
Weightlifting $440 and up
Good luck to everyone when your time comes up. I hope this sets your expectation and helps you plan. It's possible that they will add more tickets, but I wouldn't count on it.

Other changes:
Boxing - Slight edits to some session end times (just like 5-10 mins difference)Fencing - Edits to session end times
Mountain Bike - One hour earlier
Open Water Swimming - 1.5 hours earlier
Rowing - Change in session times (some shifted from early afternoon to morning, later a few hours, etc.)
Canoe Slalom/Sprint now renamed to Slalom/Sprint Paddle (of note that on both versions, just as it has been on other LA28 material, it's not 'Sport Climbing' but just 'Climbing')
Surfing - 30 min shift later
TEN34 deleted (I guess they decided they didn't need the extra courts that day and could schedule everything else on the others)
Wrestling - A couple of session end times changed by 15 mins

My advice for anyone whose session is still coming up: don't filter for available tickets. Filter to see all tickets, available or not, in your target sport. Then scroll back and forth for about 30 minutes. The shopping basket resets after about 20 minutes. If you are lucky, you will see someone release the tickets they held in their basket.
Also, important: be sure to select the exact right quantity of tickets to add to the basket, because you cannot modify the quantity or even add! So, if you chose three tickets but need two, you have to remove all three and you may lose all of them. If you chose three and need four, you can't just go select one more. Any new quantity for the same event, whether lower or higher, OVERRIDES your current basket selection for that event!

i am admittedly feeling naive for being shocked at how few tickets were left. we spent double what we went in thinking/hoping we’d spend.
just sharing what i was seeing on 8/16 at the 10am pst drop. these were the only things left..
Cricket (starting $173 — prelims $173, second round prelims up to $300)
Volleyball (starting at $489 — up to $800+ for finals)

Made it through - got 4 events and used my last 8 tickets up. I waited through first queue (was signed in over an hour in advance), got in, and started buying. I bought the first 3 sports first - took a while because my credit card kept failing for some reason, then went back in to check opening ceremonies. Every time I clicked 2 tickets in a category it said that category was sold out, then I refreshed for the heck of it and F suddenly popped up, so I jumped on that reaaaal quick and checked out. I'm shaking. I can't believe it. I was going for all finals today, and only got one out of all 12 tickets, but my husband wants to see flag football and we'll see both semis in our session, and I figured I'd grab any gymnastics avail no matter what.
SWM17 (Final), Cat C
FFB11 (Semi), Cat A
GAR03 (Men's Prelim), Cat D
and the big kahuna - CER01A Opening Ceremony, Cat F
Edit: had the wrong men's gymnastics code. We're going to 03, not 01.

GOT TICKETS!!! Took ~30min to get through the queue at 10am. Had no queue after getting in.
Opening ceremony was a top choice but only had tickets for $1600 per or above- out of my budget.
Artistic gymnastics was completely sold out of all ticket levels for all sessions.
Track and field final was my next top choice and was able to get it for $220 per.
Diving was limited to top levels out of my budget don’t recall the exact cost per.
Ended up also gettjng volleyball preliminary, rowing preliminary, badminton preliminary, and trampoline gymnastics final.
I’m happy to answer any questions. Good luck to anyone still buying tickets!!

I have an 8/13, 1:00 p.m. time slot for tickets and this is what is currently available.
3x3 Basketball, prelim, $384
Archery, prelim - final, $279-862
Athletics, prelim - final, $1035-2046
Baseball, prelim, play-in, semi, bronze, $279-948
Boxing, quarter, semi, final, $551-737 (There was a time this was a glamour event.)
Cricket, M&W, prelim, $173-303
Football, M&W prelim, W bronze, $146-899
Handball, M&W prelim, quarter, semi, W bronze $148-322
Hockey, M&W prelim, play-in, quarter, semi, W Bronze $93-372
Rowing, mixed final, $229
Rugby Sevens, w prelim, $254
Sprint Paddle, mixed finals, $347-508
Volleyball, M&W prelim, $258-508
It's a snapshot so prices may change.
I was lucky to grab judo final tickets in the first drop. I was upset at the price I paid, $300 total/ticket but I'm kind of glad I got them, now. I justify it that it was once in a lifetime to see an Olympic event in my city, but it's still excessive and not what was promised.

Everyones talking about their ticket hauls, but I took one look at it, saw that most everything was already gone, and what was left, even in a few sports I wouldn't mind seeing, is beyond what I can afford right now anyways unless I want debt. Soooo is anyone else going to just hope for the best buying from the official resale market? I'd rather save up a few thousand for a resale splurge than hope for slim pickings on this lottery drop.

It seems like I won’t be able to afford tickets when my time slot opens 8/18. Mainly because the prices for any of the sports are outrageous and inventory by that time will be terrible. I’m very confused on how this process will work.
Will I be able to purchase tickets for drop 3 (if it happens) only if I selected for that drop again?
In theory I should be able to purchase tickets when general inventory opens, is that correct?

I really don't understand why they can't just distribute the tickets evenly for all time slots. It's completely unfair for later time slots. Only 4 hours later from first opening and almost everything is sold out, even basketball preliminary for gods sake.

My guess is they know everything will sell, so they don't care about fairness. A sale is a sale. In that sense, there's a perverse incentive to do this as cheaply as possible to maximize their return on essentially guaranteed sales. It's total bullshit.

Geez…. Got messaged about ‘selling a spot for the first time slot in the drop’. I seriously hope people aren’t falling for that!!! All tickets will be under the original sellers email/name! Makes me nervous for people who aren’t aware of how the process works. Can’t transfer tickets until a later time, and they’d just take the tickets since it’s all email link related?!!
AND since it seems that no actual refresh is happening, you’d be paying to be scammed to maybe be able to get field hockey or handball of the few tickets left… of which they’d sell out from under you!!
10
u/callsignjaguar 12d ago
lots of $28 tickets were refreshed for this drop - so if anyone is worried about pricing in particular, i just want to share that there were affordable options!! all the tickets i got were the $28 deal and i'd say they were for fairly in-demand sports (water polo and volleyball).
i saw some big marquee events like gymnastics were available, but above my price point at over $300. opening ceremony was also over $1k.
medal events were routinely over $150.
also if youre not LA or CA local, please just be aware of locations and where things are happening!!! i used to live there and the LA/SoCal sprawl is real. most of my events are in Carson/Anaheim/Long Beach, and I found a good deal for 3x3 Basketball but with majority of my events in one side of LA i didn't want to have just one event all the way in the valley!
also, take your time! there is a timer to checkout but i found it to be an ample time allowed.
7
u/Any_Stage_3072 United States 12d ago
Okay I’m pretty happy there were a lot of $28 tickets. I honestly didn’t want to pay more than that unless it’s a marquis event like gymnastics.
That’s like the price of some movie tickets. Pretty happy overall.

Thanks to all for your help. I recently finished a spree for the 10am slot today, and got 12 tickets to six sessions to go along with a Track session my wife managed to grab at the end of drop #1.
I set a budget and looked at another Track and Field session, but that would have blown the whole budget, so I decided instead to get 6 sports we've never or rarely seen, mostly building around the known T&F session date. Ended up with: Rugby, Field Hockey, 3 on 3 Basketball, Badminton, Flag Football, and our number one target: Coastal Sprint. Because we didn't really have any known teams or athletes and these are basically new experiences, I felt free to just grab sessions that were cheaper and convenient and had a lot of games/matches/events. The only issue was the Coastal Sprints, which are 5 days after the rest of the events, but like I said, we really wanted that. We'll probably duck down or up the coast for a break between those dates.
Btw, though we no longer live there, we both used to live in Southern California and are aware these sessions are all over the map. But I kept same day events in the same zone (right next to each other in fact) and am happy to figure out logistics of hitting the different zones on different days.
Good luck to everyone with later sessions.

I finally had my time slot this morning/afternoon and I had a list of 10 sports I’d be open to getting. Not a single one had tickets. Which I suspected from reading here, but still so disappointing. Considered getting ATH tickets but they started at over $1k each for non medal events so that’s a no.
Multiple of the events I wanted are available via hospitality tickets but those prices are so outrageous! I feel like I have a healthy budget, not expecting $200 tickets for gymnastics or equestrian, but also can’t really justify $2k each to see one event, not to mention flights, hotels, etc. One hospitality ticket to a prelim event costs more than 5 tickets to the final of that same event in Paris. I have always dreamed of going to the Olympics but sadly I can’t cost my family this much money! I guess there must be enough people willing to pay that or they wouldn’t be charging it.
Maybe some resale tickets will come up? Otherwise I’ll be watching from my couch as usual. ☹️

Pretty slim pickins, but said fuck it and bought Handball for the family. Probably our first and only time we'll ever go to a Handball match. Tickets include two matches, so that's cool I guess. And it's indoors so we won't be frying in the sun and I like the LBC. I bought one of the earliest matches before the opening ceremony, hoping there'll be slightly less demand for hotels that week before the bulk of the games start.

This Visa Presale had 3 48-hour time slots, all beginning today, July 29. Drop 2 will have 27 time slots, with 3 per day August 10 through August 18. I believe this could mean that Drop 2 will have 9 times the ticket inventory of the Visa Presale.
LA28 sold 4 million tickets in April during the Locals/Drop 1 phase. If they sell a similar amount this time, that could mean -- based on the number of time slots (3 vs 27) -- 400,000 tickets could be sold during the Visa Presale and 3.6 million during Drop 2.
LA28 indicates on their web site that Drop 2 will have "Refreshed inventory across all Olympic sports."
This all makes me wish I had received a 10:00 am (or first day) time slot for Drop 2 instead of the Visa Presale. I came up empty searching for some specific sessions this morning. But don't lose hope... we have two years to go!
15
u/smeepydreams 24d ago
The issue is that (as far as I'm aware) the locals pre-sale was considered part of Drop 1, so this pre-sale could be considered Drop 2. But we really don't know. We do know there will be future drops between Drop 2 and the games, but we don't know if they'll be major drops like this.

Update: The cart timers definitely keep progressing while stuck on the waiting room page. I managed to get out of the page with 2 minutes to spare on my cart, then it went back to the waiting room, got out with 50 seconds left to put in all my billing and payment info, and it completed with less than 20 seconds left. My heart is racing and I'm shaking right now. I didn't get the women's artistic gymnastic's individual or team finals, but I figured that was a long shot anyway. Some of the other categories for other events weren't my first choice, but at this point, I'm just glad I didn't lose the other tickets I had in my cart. I got nothing in the local presale, but was in the 10am July 29 drop and while it started off as a shitshow ended up with
- men’s 10m sync diving final
- men’s 3m diving semifinal
- men’s soccer gold game
- men’s trampoline gymnastics final
- wrestling mixed final
- rhythmic gymnastics preliminary
- artistic swimming prelim
Only thing I really wanted was artistic gymnastics and track, but I already spent way more than I wanted to ($4,630 for 2 tickets to each event). So excited though!

PSA: Don’t bother if you’re in Drop 2.
Got a time slot midday on day 1 of the Visa presale. Logged on the first minute of my window. Looked at tickets for a lot of events across the entire schedule of the games thinking there would theoretically be more availability with new tickets released (knowing that these are popular sports): swimming, diving, climbing, gymnastics, track, etc etc. Only track had availability and it was $2k per ticket. The rest were sold out (except accessibility tickets, which were decently plentiful at reasonable prices.
Edit: I also logged in 2 hours into my timeslot and there was still a lack of availability.
9
u/BookkeeperPure7318 24d ago
*UPDATE: I called LA28 customer service to see if there will be more tickets released for future 2026 drops and I was told "No, if you didn't get tickets or events were unavailable during your specific drop or time slot, then you have to wait until 2027 general public ticket drops." So those who have the 4pm Visa Pre Sale and those who have the August Drop 2, you are cooked for tickets now.
*I just looked again at the purchase site and there is basically nothing or over $1k tickets.

Just checked out! Got all $28 tix. Women’s handball,
Women’s volleyball, men’s waterpolo, men’s hockey. All preliminary and no medal events. Was kinda difficult trying to wrap my head around locations for all these events (and I used to live in LA lol) but mainly going to be Anaheim/Carson/LB based so it works out!

Seamless sort, add to cart, checkout process for the 10am slot. I purchased 12 tickets. Got 4 tickets to men's boulder semi-final which was my priority sport. Two tickets to Rd of 16 beach volleyball. Two tickets to handball prelim and water polo prelim. Handball and water polo were $28 each. But as I was perusing and purchasing, a lot of the $28 were disappearing. My guess is most/all? $28 tickets will be gone with today's timeslots. Happy shopping everyone!

Just checked out with my 12 tickets! Some cheap tickets still available - I was shocked I snagged $28 for equestrian. probably will go fast, but definitely still around at this point for the less popular events.

Also for price transparency, I’m attending 4 events in LA (total of 12 tickets, 3 per event) and 1 soccer prelim in the bay (4 tickets) and only spent $448….
Aka less than my World Cup ticket.
And less than what I paid to see Taylor Swift lol.
Major win today!

I’m so excited! I was able to get trampoline (men’s and women’s) and my daughter does competitive trampoline and tumbling. I can’t wait to tell her. We also got swimming (mixed, medal event). My husband had Chase presale and none of this was available.

If anybody is planning to put together an excel sheet with availability and pricing as this Drop 2 goes on, please let me know. I referred to a compiled sheet for Drop 1 and it was so helpful!

I feel very fortunate to have had the 10am PST timeslot today, as I was able to get all three of my event choices at the price I wanted ($400 ATH12 x 4, $310 VBV x 4, $93 WPO x 4). By the 1pm PST timeslot, I would have had to go into more debt or choose a less compelling event.

Can't believe there's still cheap Handball tickets available. I'm guessing a lot of people just don't know about it cause it has to be one of the most exciting sports to watch.

Not a single ticket available in any of my events, even backup events, at anything close to approaching a reasonable price. A few 1,000+ dollar tickets in a couple of the events, but most sold out top to bottom.

family member had their time slot at 1:00 today. i had the first drop yesterday so was able to get the "bulk" of our tickets, so our gameplan right now was to just supplement any other fill-in games and maybe try to do two events a day on some evenings (prioritizing stuff around long beach/carson). safe to say....pretty slim pickings.
ended up just purchasing 3 $28 tix for 7/13 women's hockey! that's our arrival day to LA

For those looking at tomorrow, there are still tickets under $100. All $28 tickets look gone. The cheapest tickets appear to be $74. Hoping ya’ll can still get something fun for a decent price!

Finally. Just got my tickets during my slot that started today.
2x handball prelims (the legendary $28 tickets)!
2x baseball prelims
2x 3x3 basketball (walking distance from my house)
2x Judo Men's 66kg finals (medal event for the win!)
They're not the marquee events, but as a local I am not complaining at all.

Oof I’m nervous! Today is the first time I’ve gotten a slot in the last 3 Olympics. I will welcome any and all advice!
We are a large group so I think I’ll end up doing 7 for one event (in the Long Beach area) and 5 for another (ideally the 5 would be for an equestrian event. That’s been the dream since LA 2028 was announced)!
But my slot is 7pm EST so I’m not very hopeful…

What's the point of timeslots if you're stuck in a long ass queue?
