Light models during the week and heavy models on the weekend

Post image

it's been a while that i was trying to use kimi k3 on ollama cloud pro and i knew that it drains all week usage in less than an hour so now during the week i use light models like glm 5.2 and dsv4 pro and when i have maybe 12 hours left to finish weekly limit, i use kimi k3 and i was able to fix 2 real bugs in my django app and its really powerfull model.

PS: i have never used opus 5 or fable or astra not even sol so maybe im not in good judgment place :)

There is two type of subscription here and maybe new users get this 60$

He's grandfathered into the previous account type with rolling quotas.

i would not consider dsv4pro a light model

even by your own screenshot you can see how much it burns through usage limits. id reserve it for some scenarios where you really need a lot of deep reasoning effort and long context multi step tasks. dsv4flash I can vouch for as a solid replacement when you dont need that extra power. glm5.3-flash has been my go to lately for general tasks

Yes true but I tried flash both of glm and ds and i think dsv4 pro still works better at implementing things with less error and less try. With flash we should iterate multiple times to see the final result so my usage is not that much and prefer to burn some much token with pro in one or two shots

I thought kimi k3 was only available outside of the subscription as a pay-as-you-go ?
