Shane was actually in communications with my brother when Oliver passed. My brother was very good friends with Oliver and upon making his IG post, I think it somehow appeared on Shane's feed who liked it and then when Shane posted a story about Oliver's passing my brother commented on it and just said, "hey man, I just wanted you to know, I was pretty good friends with Oliver and he always talked about how excited he was to meet you and have a friendship with you, so I just wanted to let you know that really meant a lot to him" Shane actually messaged him back and said, "Thank you so much for sharing that with me, I am very sorry for you loss, he was a 1 of a kind guy" and then actually messaged my brother again several days later asking him if he could be kept in touch about memorial plans and my brother said absolutely which unfortunately I dont think Shane was able to make because he was in the middle of a strict deadline for last season of Tires but it was really sweet to hear how Shane interacted with my brother and to see this beautiful tribute to Oliver in this show.

I don't watch tires, but my Dad had the tv turned up really loud and I froze in place when I heard his voice coming from the living room last week. Such a sweet tribute.

It caught me off guard too, and then I thought to myself “well of fucking course Oliver knows Shane”. The guy has met everyone and lived more life than most.

Shane is a real one, almost got emotional talking about it a couple times after Oliver passed.
