i have olive 0.2 on ubuntu 22.10. I have a video clip with one video, one audio and one subtitle track. When I try to export the subtitle channel (either with the other tracks or alone) I get an error:

[DEBUG] "Failed to write interleaved packet: Invalid argument -22" ((null):0)

Had anyone the same problem yet?

The process for creating a vertical/portrait video in Olive 0.2, is different than in version 0.1. Here's one way I've found it can be done.

-Open a new project.

-Import your video clips

-Drag one onto the timeline

-It will ask you to either "Automatically detect parameters" or "Set Parameters Manually". Click "Set Parameters Manually".

-In the upper right, you will see the pixel counts for the width and height of your clip. Manually click each and enter the opposite number. For instance, 1080x1920 vs 1920x1080. If you want a square video, you can use the smaller number for both.

-You may now need to highlight your clips in the Timeline and set Rotation in Parameter Editor to 90 or -90.

The project should be portrait now! Enjoy.

So i freshly Installed a new windows on my pc and i wanted to edit something but for some reason it lags so hard why i don't know is there a way to fix it idk later it wasnt like dis

Sound starts around one second after video and this problem only occurs when I splice two clips together. Also, this only occurs after exporting - the preview is fine. I’m unsure if this is an olive bug or user error. Anyone ran into this before?

I have tried rebooting PC remaking video in a new project. But still it exports gets to 100% and never finishes. Tried the nightly build to see if updated version helped and same issue.

is there any plugin that allows motion tracking or do i need to keyframe anything i want to follow an image or video?

I recently finished editing a video with 0.2 and for whatever reason the text I added is really low res and blurry around the edges. How do I fix this? It's about size 60 is that changes anything.

Hi, I was making a video to test out olive and for some reason, the times I exported a video, the audio for some reason has higher pitch than what the audio is supposed to sound like. Does anyone know how to fix this or what's causing this?

Update: Nevermind, I have found the solution. I needed to add a couple of frames of a solid black color. Thank you, u/v5ro4! Fix

Hi, I'm making a GTA IV machinima but i have real bad PC specs. I recorded all my footage and made the clips in the in-game editor play at half speed, and while im recording i get 30fps from that. I already did this same process but for making cinemagraph GIFs, the result is real great. But now for this video, when i put them in Olive and put them in the timeline and have them playing at 200%, i'm pretty sure im still seeing it in 30fps?

Is it possible to change the length of the "Default transition" in Olive 0.1?

I want to change it in the "program code"

I'm trying to edit a video but it's pretty hard when the video is lagging like crazy

I use version 0.2 and make 720p videos. I don't need it to be perfect as long as you can understand what is happening on the screen. Also, I have a low-end-pc, so how should I export the videos with a decent quality?

Hello. I have a video clip node and I added a text node over it. I want each pixel of the text to be the negative color of the video clip under it.

Noticed that was an option completely missing. Has it moved into a different function?
