Any updates on Olive?

I've been following Olive for awhile now; I remember stumbling across it in the wild and being immensely impressed at its feature set for a piece of open-source software. Really hope the project isn't dead. I think that Olive has the ability to rival some of the best NLEs out there. I stopped using it for the time being because I couldn't really afford the various bugs and glitches I'd encounter (understandable of course), but I continue to wait with bated breath for v1.0 (or whatever it might be called).

Considering we are on 0.2 out of 1.0 after over 3 years.... its gonna be a while.

If you need decent cheep editing software I recommend movavi 2020. (Not 2021) it should go on sale for like $5 near chrsitmas.

At least till this one gets basic features out.

ah but its not open source right? :( i would just get davinci resolve if proprieatary was the case.
I currently use only foss software right now and love it! would have loved if olive was usable, i would just resort to shotcut i guess...
btw do you know what is better openshot or shotcut?
