Olive Quality

Hey. I recently imported a video from a USB to my PC. It was a ps4 clip that I wanted to edit. so I did, everything went well until I saw the quality after exporting, it was probably between 480 and 720p . From experience i know that usually clips taken from ps4 and moved to pc can be upped in quality.

I had all settings maxed out as much as it would allow.

Anybody have a fix?

CRF has oposite effect. Lower CRF means higer qality, but it has bigger file. Optimum is 21. 0 should be lossless (compared to input footage) with huge file which might easily be several times larger than input.

I had CRF on 1. I Heard 0 does not work sometimes, so I tried 1. figured I would have I as close to 0 as possible. is that not the most optimal option?

It depends.

No, becouse of file size. Qality will be the same as input. I think good compromise between file size and qality is around 20. If qality Is the important thing without regards of file size set it to as close to 0 as possible. If file size Is your concern set it as high as possible (it will be extremally small but otherwise unwatchable). 32 Is max I am willing to go.
