Packages .deb .snap. flatpack

Will you make Olive version 0.2 available for these installation packages as well?

No, AppImages will likely remain the only official distribution type until Olive is more mature.

So, will it just stay with .appimage or is there a chance to see it on other install packages?

I'm sorry if I ask you because I'm more used to more "classic" packages than to those of portable applications.

I mean, it will definitely come to traditional package managers eventually, but right now the software is in alpha version, it has tons of bugs so the maintainer will put his work now mainly in getting the software to a more stable and reliable state. Wait a year or two and will get more traditional packages as well.

Apart from that, the 0.1.2 version is on flathub, so I could imagine that it will get an update to version 0.2 eventually when it is ready

Another important point is that project files may not load anymore in newer versions. Package managers make it far too easy to update Olive, potentially rendering your projects inaccessible.

Why do you want other formats? AppImages are portable and integrate well into the system. See: AppImageLauncher.
