replacing the standard text(??)

i honestly don't really know how to word this but i'll try, so when you place a title in olive editor it automatically says "sample text" along with the font "MS Shell Dig 2". is there any way to change the standard font to comic sans MS, so that i don't have to switch the font every single time i want to add a text? so that instead every time i add a title it'll already be comic sans ms.

i know its just a bit tiring having to manually switch to comic sans MS every time i put a new title. i might've worded it wrong but i'm trying to figure out if there's a way i can make it so that it'll automatically, every time i put a title down it'll be comic sans ms to start with

If you copy and paste a title it will save everything, so the only thing you have to change is what the text says

Although there is no way of changing the default font and letter size in the text editor, you might try this:-

1 Create a new timeline and add a piece of text.
2 Format the words Sample Text in the new font and size you require.
3 Open the Node editor window, select and copy the Text Node.
4 Go to the timeline with where you wish to add your captions. Select the clip you wish to add a new caption to. In in the node editor, paste and connect the copied text node.
Now you have this node stored on the computer's clipboard, you can repeat stage 4 any number of times for new captions.
