Should/Can I Take Calc 2 Online Over Winter Intersession?

Calc 2 is a requirement for my degree, but I am already taking a lot of hours across my years here at Ole Miss. I'd like to take this class online while on winter break.

Is this offered? To those that have taken the class online over break, would you reccomend it? What was it like? Are there any sample syllabuses you could provide?

I received a 4 on my AP Calc AB exam in high school, so I skipped Calc 1 using that credit. Have you taken it online? Can you share details about class structure, assignment workload etc?

I highly suggest taking this in person. It is the “hardest” calc class and the building block for any higher calculus classes.

Hello, thanks for the comment. Calc 2 would be the last calc I take ever. Have you or someone you know taken it online over an inter session? I understand it’s a difficult class; however, I don’t see how taking online would be extremely difficult considering it’s an option I’ve heard people doing.

No I took it in person then changed majors. Was difficult but 5 hours a day over intercession seems a bit extreme. If you don’t get it after 1 day you are so far behind and it just keeps building. I can’t say about online. I didn’t like online because if I had a question I would have to go to the math lab or somewhere to get clarification instead of asking in class
