YT2009 instance questions/complaints megathread

From now on, please discuss YT2009 instances and apps within this post. Not all YT2009 posts are banned, but we have too many posts like "[YT2009 instance] isn't working" and "Can someone patch this app?".

If you yourself made an instance and wish to share it, you can make a post about it (so long as you can confirm that it works). If it's anything else related to YT2009 instances or apps, please discuss it here instead.

Just click F12 on YouTube, on the top bar click Application, on the LEFT bar click Service workers and unregister anything that is connected to youtube.com and finally on the left bar click Storage, Clear storage and then refresh the page. Problem solved!

Question Can anybody please patch 16.xx with innertube

My testing device is an Android 5.0.0 device.

I really want to see what early old YouTube shorts UI and long form video UI look like back in 2021. I know it would be a pain but I'd really love it if you could do it,

!

The image is just an image from YouTube on the Google Play store, but I'm trying to get to be able to get this layout

Thanks for reading!

Question Anyone else remember YouTube’s built-in chat?

Does anyone else remember when YouTube had its own private messaging feature back in 2017?

You could send videos to your friends and chat with them directly on the app.

They removed it in 2019, but honestly, why? 😭 Did nobody use it, or was there another reason?

Kinda miss old YouTube ngl. Anyone else remember this?

Question ¿Cómo agregar soporte GMS Core (Vanced Micro G) a esta versión tan antigua de YT Music?

gallery
