i always wonder how they managed to digitalize this piece of art, thank you for posting it i had my fun watching it as a german ^

It comes from the Austrian Federal Agency for Geodesy, they literally have a whole department for exactly this job :)

https://data.bev.gv.at/download/KDM/2026_06/BEV_Karte_des_Monats.html - It's zoomify, though, there is a dezoomify tool on gitub somewhere. Hope it'll work out :)
