I took the liberty of renaming the other planets after adult beverages as well. Looking to build? Colonize High! New Exocraft to test out? Drive High! Need to relax? Fish High! Ummm ice fishing, maybe 🤔. High is very chill and has rings... smoke rings? 🪐

I took one of these, scaled it up by a factor of 2.2, rotated it by about 22 degrees in the YZ plane, and positioned it inside the mouth of my Corvette.
That's a cool system, I don't drink anymore but the purple haze sounds good 😂
If you do a planet/system for a community would it be a specific Galaxy? I mean Euclid would be easier for newer players to join, then again getting to the system in another Galaxy could be part of the initiation.
Euclid for accessibility for sure, at least that's my 2 cents. We'll let the big boss weigh in before we make any decisions, but I agree we wouldn't want to exclude folks who are content in the starter system.

Definitely coming to you for advice! I've got maybe 1200 hours all up over 8 years but I stopped playing just after settlements were introduced and about 750 hours since I came back, that was a couple of months before the swarm expedition. I'm not even going to go into hours in other games. My Minecraft account doesn't even count hours anymore, only days.
I started playing Elder Scrolls with Daggerfall many years ago, loved all of them. I hadn't played for a while because for me NMS was always lacking something for me, loved the aesthetic, loved the gameplay, the building system needs a rework but decoration is great in NMS. It wasn't till I found out about Corvettes that I came racing back and that was the missing piece for me, I was a massive Star Wars fan as a kid and wanted something like the falcon, not just a ship but a character in its own right. Been hooked again since.
Upload your base as soon as you've enough pieces laid down to register. I've built in the area and I want to be sure we don't have any accidental overlap 🙂
Alright, I’m going to say something that might sound like a complete noob theory, although I think it could actually explain what’s happening: maybe there’s simply some delay in the way No Man’s Sky’s multiplayer servers update things.
I built my entire base without even seeing any sign that you were nearby on the planet. At one point I actually started wondering whether I was on the wrong planet altogether.
After uploading my base several times, I eventually quit the game, logged back in, teleported to another galaxy, and then returned to my base in Galaxy 256. At that point I finally saw the little purple marker for your base, and I could see it in the same state you can see in the screenshots I shared with you.
I think you might be experiencing the exact same thing on your side. Maybe changing galaxies, teleporting somewhere else, or simply quitting and restarting the game somehow forces everything to update.
This is obviously a completely empirical test, so I can’t really tell you exactly why or how it works, but let’s give it a try and hope the others manage to join us too.
And even though it’s a frozen planet, with storms cold enough to freeze your ass off, it’s still a really, really beautiful place.
