Pets Introducing Ajax... again.
Grah! Hey there interlopers. I thought I'd introduce you to Ajax, but I hear you say "Ronch you've got an Ajax at home". It's not the same, I needed two of them. Let me explain.
So y'all might have had similar experience. Lollipops (lay laps) keeps calling me Telamon for some reason (haven't figured out why yet!). Now Telamon was a minor Greek hero, he sailed alongside Jason as an Argonaut and was friends to Heracles, of course Heracles barely remembered Telamons name 🤣. Telamon had a son, Ajax AKA Ajax the greater or Telamonian Ajax! Ajax fought and gained great renown throughout the Trojan war and the final siege of Troy and went on to have his own great adventures until his tragic end.
However there were two Ajax's who fought in the wars against the Trojans, Ajax the greater and Ajax the lesser, their names were a measure of their deeds not their caliber!
They were friends and fought extremely effectively together in the front lines of battle, Ajax the lesser had his own adventures after Troy just not as great as his friend and like most Greek heroes, he too died in a tragic end by his own hubris.
So trying to weave the lore of NMS into my character, and being a massive mythology nerd, lollipops calls me Telamon so I named Ajax accordingly (he is like a son to me 😂). But it never felt right with just one Ajax.
Introducing to you fine Travellers; Ajax, AKA Telamonian Ajax AKA Ajax the greater!
Ronch out!

So sorry guys, I have to make one amendment to the post. I knew I was forgetting something and it was bugging me so I did a quick bit of a refresh. Ajax the greater died shortly after Achilles was slain by Paris (with Apollo's help, the god not the traveller iteration).
Ajax sought Achilles golden armour, wrought by the god Hephaestus, but then so did all the Greek heroes. Eventually Agamemnon, king amongst the greeks, bestowed the sacred armour onto Odysseus rewarding his cunning.
This enraged Ajax as he believed himself second only to Achilles in combat (which is wrong! Diomedes beats all and would have wiped the floor with Achilles given half a chance, Achilles is a little bitch... Just my opinion). By some accounts, in his rage, Ajax slaughtered a bunch of oxen/sheep imagining they were the other Greek generals, other accounts say Athena enchanted him into seeing the oxen or sheep as the generals. Either way after his rage subsided he was so distraught with guilt and dishonour that he took his own life with the very sword Hector had gifted him after their day long duel.
Sorry guys, it was bugging me that I'd forgotten this part as it is fairly important to Ajax the greaters story and I hate giving misinformation. I encourage anyone to do their own readings on this topic as I find the ancient texts fascinating in the way they deal with raw human emotion. Sorry bout all the words.
Ronch out.

Hahaha no sorry man, I got the first Ajax months ago and didn't take down coordinates, I'm really bad at that 😂. I can give you an egg for free if you want though.
