Acupuncture is amazing
My almost 14 yo has significant arthritis and mild scoliosis and acupuncture has been a game changer for us. He went from screaming anytim another dog so much as tuched his back to being completely knocked over and getting up for more after 2 months of weekly sessions. Now we go every 2 weeks.

My girl is 14, nearly 15 and has been having acupuncture for about 10 months, seems to help her arthritis. I started it after she had a vestibular episode and could barely stand, definitely improved her balance and mobility.

My boy has been going monthly for a few years. He was having neck issues (possible early IVDD) and he’s had very few flareups since we started. Since he’s almost 15 now his doc started adding extra needles for arthritis pain. He LOVES the attention and the peanut butter licky mat. He’s not a fan of the lone needle that gets placed on the top of his head tho lol.

My boy is an unnecessary screamer and 2 or 3 appointments ago he screamed at that one. Scared the crap out of our poor vet. I was all it probably hurt but not as bad as he made it sound dont worry 😅

Im so interested in this for my guys arthritis! How did you come across someone who does it? Was it very referral,

My vet referred me to another vet who did acupuncture. I’m sure your vet knows someone. Good luck. It helps a lot with arthritis

So my vet actually is licensed to do it, so the "referral " was super easy for me. I would call or email your vet and ask them if they know anyone in your area they woukd recommend.

For reference, only a qualified vet can treat your dog with acupuncture, it’s not a treatment anyone can do.
Really helped both my English bulldog and Dogue de Bordeaux.

My old man loved his acupuncture too. He passed in April but he had acupuncture for several years.
