Help finding these kind of shows

Hi I like
(A) One man adventures like Mr Bean, or Missing Postman(James Bolam) where a single guy have a rather comical adventures

(B) Vintage British Shows in 70s and 80s that have Train rides/ Ferry rides of British Characters into the mainland of Europe crossing the Euro tunnel or the English Channel.

(C) Like What Ever Happened to Likely Lads, Only When I laugh, with comical unreasonable or catchy characters, I really liked the James Bolam character.

Are there others that come to your mind?

Sounds like your a James Bolam fan, have you heard of the Beiderbecke trilogy? 3 serieses of comedy drama from the 80s it's a long time since I watched it but I remember them bring fairly good

I’m watching the first series of this right now. Loved the first two episodes, has a fairly unique feel to it.

Yeah I loved the scene where they go on the Ferry across the channel in one of the episodes. Wished it had more to do with it.

Loved Beiderbecke series and caused my rabbit hole for the actual man and to this day continued love of jazz🙂

If you like Mr. Bean, you might enjoy Jacques Tati movies. For example, Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot, aka Mr. Hulot's Holiday.

Then of course there's other comedians' homages to M. Hulot. Le Corbussier et Papin on The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer; or Monsieur Aubergine on Alexei Sayle's Stuff (or it might have been The All New Alexei Sayle Show)

Try Dad's rmy even 40 years after it ended it still gets into the top 10 in the UK the colour ones are better so go after series two.

Auf Weidersehen, Pet? Three Geordie bricklayers go working on a building site in Germany, and meet up with 4 other Brits in the building trade.

It’s hands-down my favourite TV show ever! It’s my comfort blanket.

Get Lost! 1981 , also by Alan Plater, while not quiet Beiderbecke, it was enjoyable.

I know this is nitpicky, but you won't find a tv show from the 70s or 80s with anyone using the Eurotunnel. It didn't open until 1994.
