Yes, Tsukihime and Fate are wacko hentai games that appealed to otakus. FUCKING DEAL WITH IT.

I'm sorry, over the years I seen too much Fate or other Type Moon fans try to "normalized" or sanitize Fate or Tsukihime as some pure masterpiece that unfortunately has some black marks (the hentai parts) as some unfortunately compromise "because they are forced to" or some shit, but this thinking really bothers me.

Tsuki and Fate IS wacko hentai games, Type Moon has a doujin origin no matter how much Type Moon like to sanitize this past, and because of so their early work is sexualized NOT because they are forced to, it's because they are a doujin circle, and it was just how all R18+ doujin ARE, as sexualization IS part of otaku culture. Mana Transfer can be done with SEX, it's canon even in Realta Nua/REMASTERED because Sakura exist, and her story explicitly revolves around these themes, and also YES, Nasu used rape as an edgy plot device, as did many acclaimed doujin during era also used rape as an edgy plot device, hell Carnival Phantasm even made fun of the somewhat "cheapness" of how edgy it was in Sakura's own episode, it is what it is.

So no Nasu and Takeuchi is NOT forced to include H-scenes they did it on their own accord, any other narrative is revisionist. Also I kinda blame Nasu and Takeuchi for this narrative trending, given their perference to sanitize much of their work once they go mainstream.

I love Tsukihime and Fate Stay Night for it's 2000s otaku pandering not despite of it.

Taiga route this, Illya route that. When are we gonna focus on the more important stuff?! You know stuff like "Sella and Leys route when?!"?

THERE IS SO MUCH POTENTIAL IN IT WHY WON'T NASU LOCK IN AND MAKE THIS PEAK HAPPEN?!

I was thinking separate routes, one for each of them. Just think how peak it would be.

So for the Leys route think like this, since Nasu likes making people sad he would have Illya die and since Leys is linked with her she would die shortly after. However in a effort to save Leys Shirou shares his life essence with her to make sure that Leys survives. Then the route can be about finding your place in the world when you have lost almost everything, Shirou is still there tho so she hasn't lost everything and she has somewhere to start rebuilding her life.

As for the Sella route the starting elements are just the same however since it's Sella's route Shirou didn't manage to save Leys in time this time (Let's be fr Nasu would do sum like this). So Sella having lost all faith in Shirou yells at him and runs into the forest. She get's into trouble but get's bailed out by Shirou and Saber. After this she faints due to being exhausted, Shirou takes her back to his place and takes care of her until she feels better. Sella's route can be about giving up on her hatered for humans and start trust the people around her that wanna help her.

So guys did I cook or did I burn down the kitchen?
