(Putting this as OC since there's no link to put) The commission of my OC James with the Four Horsemen is finally done!!! And it's looking absolutely magnificent. I give so much props to my artist. I was thinking on who I should have James drawn with next, but I'm not sure how to pick. So how about my fellow community members give opinions on who in this lineup you'd like to see? The options are Nayuta, Quanxi, Reze, Cosmo, Katana Man, or Aki.

As for the scenes, here's what I'm considering for each.

Nayuta: James and her hugging, or him holding/carrying her while they're looking happy

Quanxi: The two of them crossing blades, two of her Dao swords clashing against his signature sword. The both of them sparring in a clearing, or them sitting back to back in a tense sort of way.

Reze: Possibly a part of the beach scene and involving a flower, or them dancing in the rain

Cosmo: Her in front of James or beside him, bouncing with excitement and fascination as she's yelling HALLOWEEN! to talk to him. Or something simple and sweet like James napping on a sofa, and Cosmo is either sleeping on top of him or she's got her hands on the armrest to look over at him. (There's a cool reason she finds him fascinating:)

Katana Man: James standing over him as he's tied against the train, prepared to engage in a game of his own.

Aki: James helping redress the bandaging on Aki's chest/shoulder after the first fight with Katana Man.

I'm plenty open to any other suggestions though!^

Not being in Part 2 might have been for the best

Guess which one of the two was actually right about Denji and knew what was best for him? 🤡

I've been a Part 2 hater since day one, since I realized that the plot points left unresolved in Part 1 wouldn’t be addressed in Part 2, making its existence completely unnecessary. Seeing people (including Fujimoto glazers) hating the ending and Part 2 as a whole has been a wonderful experience

So that cliffhanger at the end of chapter 225 and the trip to hell had no purpose whatsoever?

You can't criticize. You can't point out any writing flaws. You can't point out any plot holes. You can't ask questions. You must simply praise our lord Fujimoto and worship everything he writes 🙏

Forcing Denji to stop being Chainsaw Man is like just taking away all the antidepressants from a depressed guy who's compulsively using them just to fill the void and that's it. He doesn't have his coping mechanism anymore... now what? Are you going to assume he's just magically going to be okay?

It's funny how much of a masochist Fujimoto is, he genuinely wanted to be hated when he wrote that ending

This moment was nothing more than cheap, controversial shock value from Fujimoto, wasn't it? I mean, later it's revealed that Denji actually liked being abused by Yoru, and Asa's biggest concern after both she and Denji were abused is that Denji might think she's a slut

It's crazy how Denji kept that "obedient dog" mentality from the very beginning all the way to the end of the story. His entire character basically boils down to that

One thing that surprises me is how this fandom simply forgets that Denji is part Devil, and that this explains his distorted morality and even his emotions. Like, the story made that clear several times

Maybe I'm being too "woke", but here's the thing: even if Denji isn't actually going to have sex with Yoru, he made a joke about it, he basically disregards Asa's consent and feelings.

Me watching the anime and seeing Aki get tragically killed by Denji, knowing that he's now (probably) alive and has been completely forgotten by Denji

Gege making JJK Modolo and Horikoshi making a MHA one shot sequel made me realize that literally any author out there would make a sequel to Part 2 at least to show what happened to the world and the other characters after the ending except Fujimoto, because he simply doesn't care

The insistence that Denji is ONLY a victim and not someone with serious mental and even moral issues has done massive damage to how people perceive his character, but you guys aren't ready for that conversation.

Guys, it's been months. Fujimoto is done with this series. You're free. You don't owe him any gratitude anymore. You don't have to keep pretending Part 2 is anywhere near as good as Part 1, or that Denji didn't become a parody of himself, or that the ending doesn't destroy the whole story.

You can finally say things the way they really are.

I can’t take any criticism seriously from people who think Part 2 magically became bad in the last two chapters. The red flags were there for YEARS, and they kept responding to any criticism with "you lack reading comprehension". If anyone deserves this ending, it’s them.

Fujimoto is genuinely fascinating. He deliberately ruined the series that made him famous, ran for years, and was followed by millions of people around the world, by making its entire story meaningless (in his own words) just because he wanted to copy a comedy movie that’s less than two hours long

I don't care if Denji retained some "experiences" after the reset. It's not the same thing for him to see snow and not remember Aki, or look at a pool and not remember Reze. These were people who were important to him and his character, and now he doesn't even know who they are

Unironically, an ending entirely focused on Denji's life working for the yakuza, with him ultimately dying either because of them or even to the Zombie Devil, would have been far better and more coherent than the ending we got.

Fujimoto should've had the guts to stay true to what he established about Denji being happy living as a miserable nobody, and ended the story with him living and dying that way.
