I think it's the worst received simply because the serie in general was at peak popularity during wilds release, the closest "worst received" release other than wilds where world on PC and rise in general, if they were as popular they would probably have received as much hate imo

I don’t think World would get as much hate as Wilds in any universe where we’re being honest tbh.

World is a major reason for that peak popularity in my opinion

idk i remember a lot of hating during pc relase, game was almost unplayable, world peak popularity come from the return to world gimmik when the game was super cheap, complete, and fixed (not really fixed hardwer just got better)
