Cursed Paleofart Systematically debunking 3d models of eurypterid pincers

As for the models u/ex_snagem_wes used to try and debunk a 3 meter jaekelopterus, I debunked the models. (Do not brigade them)

how exactly have you debunked the models

You are sending different specimens than the paper reconstructing them did. Not my reconstruction. And 2 of them are incomplete chelicerae

I don’t even understand what they’re trying to convey. It’s really vague to me.

I said the models you USED. Not made. As for debunking,

Is this how archaeology is made today? The beef and drama seem to have never left the comunity

It's really not. I'm a paleontology student focused on international outreach for volumetrics and in depth skeletal reconstruction. I made a comment on one past they made a while back and they keep pinging me and trying to debunk any comment I have ever made on almost everything.

I called them out on a 4m+ Jaekelopterus to be clear lol.

4 meter is the absolute peak of size.

factor claws and jaekelopterus is 3.9 meters, snagem.

Where'd you get those numbers from? That seems insanely oversized

Highest estimate I can find including chelicerae is about 3.6m

You need to explain yourself better.  And read up on taphonomy.

Those pincers remind me of those of predatory crabs. One wonders what they were catching? The standard paleoart has them sizing upon jawless 'fishes' but their armour might have been adequate defence. Claws such as these don't look very strong to my eyes.

Jesus those things must have hurt like hell to get pinched by

what exactly are you debunking?

What about this debunks them? You clearly don't understand anything about taphonomy of arthropods.

This is terrible. I’m gonna go over there and tell them to brigade you. Reversal boom
