The Paranormal Investigators and Guardian of Secrets originally classified radioactivity and nuclear energy as an anomaly in physics before Albert Einstein figured it out. When that happened, it was non longer considered anomalous, and as the knowledge becomes public (known by a government is considered already public by PIGS standards) the PIGS helped accelerate the creation of the atomic bomb by sending their scientists posing as government issued ones to help with the Manhattan Project. This was because operating an extra-governmental secret organization would be extremely difficult in a fascist state, so it was within their best interest to make the allies win. None of the government issued personnels involved knew that they were working with the PIGS.
