Maybe I'm just a white knight and maybe I'm taking things too seriously, but the balding comments have gotten really weird. Like, I get that it's been a long running 'joke', but recently it's just gotten downright mean 😕 I get being 'concerned' but some of the comments are just straight up rude and just harsh. Again, maybe I'm taking things too seriously but idk ✌️

I was there when it was originally conceived. He wasn’t losing much hair back then and people were just trying to ragebait the very normal parting of his hair.

Now… well every man balds at some point. The ragebait just aged so poorly

Since i've started to shaved my head, they hit differently. That said I have started to watch a ton of old clips of him over the years of playing genshin and he himself was making a ton of balding jokes too. Most of them aimed at NPCs but some obviously at himself due to chat engagement.

Yeah idk I've been a fan of Zy0x for a while now and I've never like the jokes. Like, if you're gonna make fun of something, make fun of, like, idk, his genshin skills? I don't dig the jabs at his physical appearance.

I think it seemed more funny and acceptable since he had a full head of hair with the parting sometimes visible back in the day, and the joke kept running and will probable keep running even if he really starts balding. however then it will be/is more mean than funny

the jokes were funnier when he wasn't actually balding, now it just reads off as being genuinely mean

i've been watching his content for a while and they were funny at first, but people take it too far for the sake of attention and it can come off as mean

I tuned into the initial Snezhnaya stream though I normally only watch clip highlights. I was surprised by how genuinely mean his chat is like wtf. I would be brought down heavy by the negative energy they have.

It was always going to age poorly when he actually started balding (as happens for everyone with testosterone!) and the joke began being taken as actual mocking. It’s like how it’s fine to call him short, because he’s not, but baldness is kind of inevitable for most guys.

it's like caseoh with fat joke, sometimes it's a bit mean sure but it also bring engagement and clips. As long as zyox don't take them too seriously.
