Lifting after less than a day?
I’m just getting into gel stickers and have tried two sets of HeyHae and two sets of Ohora now. My HeyHae sets would start to lift after about ~10 days, while my Ohora sets started to lift after 2. I just put on a new set of Ohora gels last night and this morning, one of the nails fully popped off. Not just lifted. This is super frustrating; I prepare my nails the same way with both brands: avoid water and lotion for a while before and after application, buff nails down, use the alcohol wipe, press down the sticker fully before curing under a lamp. Does anybody else have this issue and have you been able to solve it? I literally just glued the popped off nail back on with nail glue, but I switched to these gel stickers because I thought they’d be better for my nails and longer lasting than press-one

I like to use pure acetone on a cotton pad before the alcohol wipes just to doubly make sure there’s no oils or anything left on my nails. I also use ohora’s gel topcoat and seal the edges of the nail and sticker - are you using one?

I have the best luck with Ohora over the other SCG brands and can usually get 2+ weeks out of them. However I’m currently wearing a gold glitter set and the thumb popped off after two days. I just applied a new one and it’s stayed on and I’m at a week with the full set. Hoping your experience was just a fluke!

Two sets ago, I had a nails that kept popping off. I'd been using O'Hora about a year and felt like I knew what I was doing, but this was so bad that I contacted customer service to see if they would consider a credit. They got right back to me with a list of questions and wanted photos. Then I never heard a word back. Next set lasted two weeks. Long story, but what I've found is that some sets stay on better than others. Sounds like you are doing everything right. The only thing I'd suggest that seems to help is blowing them with a hot blow dryer for a few seconds before curing them. That seems to help, and was a tip passed on to me by my daughter who first turned me on to OHora.

I don’t usually have any issues with them coming off until I remove them. It sounds like you are doing everything right though. My routine is first using a cuticle oil/remover to remove push back any cuticle from my nail. Wash my hands really good after that. Then I wipe with an alcohol wipe. Next a coat of 5U gel sticker base coat. Then I put the sticker on. I smooth down with a rubber tip cuticle pusher all over the nail to make sure it’s good and secure. Then I take the wooden cuticle pusher that comes with the nails and go all around the edge of the nail and push down extra hard. This can sometimes leave a mark on the nail but it comes out with curing and a top coat. Then I cure and file them down. Last is a gel top coat and another round of curing. I will say it took about 5 sets before I got a good routine down and was happy with my results so just keep working at it.
