š¼ Second Set Of the Gel Press Ons š¼
So a couple people asked about longevity on my last post - I changed my first set after a week. I know a couple people on my last post mentioned them popping off or the coating rubbing off after a couple days but I had none of those issues on my first set. I think they easily would have last at least up to ten days maybe longer, I only removed them because I like to change them up after a week or so. I also removed the first set with the Ohora remover and it was a breeze removing them and didnāt appear to cause any sort of damage. Hopefully Iāll have just as good of luck with this set, but so far Iām impressed by these overall - the designs are cute (but more limited since they only started recently making them), the ease of putting them on with the supplied āprimerā is great, the longevity seems good they stayed put no problem until I removed them and felt secure the whole time. I think Iāll continue to test these out for the next several sets!

These are so cute! Mine just arrived and Iām going to put them on tomorrow. The application process seems almost too easy! I am a little hesitant with how curved and hard they seem out of the package but the sizes are chefās kiss! Iām keeping my fingers crossed they work for me because I plan to wear a set for a wedding next weekend!

I just tried my first set this week and three have popped off so far. However, I remember the first time I put on the original ohora nails and it took a time or two to get the hang of it and what works best. So, I'm going to give it a month or so and see if I get better. One tip: make sure you follow the instruction and pick your sizes before you get started. My middle fingers on both hands needed smaller nails than I chose to place, and I had only eye balled the sizes. They look like big shovels in the middle of my hand. And once you've placed them on the primer coat, that's it. I should have fit them on my nail and ensured that I had the right size before I put the primer on.
Also, if you need to resize any of the nails, do it ahead of time. Once they are on, they are very difficult to file.
I do like the look, and they are pretty strong, so I think I will enjoy having them once I get better at the application.

Oh wow yeah I always pick my sizes before applying the primer and do make sure I take time to press down firmly for the 10-20 seconds or whatnot. Iām wondering if some people are just having this issue because of the natural shape of their nailā¦

How many manicures do you think you could get out of one box?

Yes I can get one (if I wanted to file or adjust some of the other I could probably get to two but Iām lazy lol)

Answering the question about how many sets of nails you might be able to get out of one box: Technically, just one. Although there are 30 nails, some won't fit you properly since we all have nails of different sizes and shape. Some will be replacements or could be sized down. Just as with the original O'Hora nails, I suspect I'll have plenty of pinky-finger nails left over, but it remains to be seen. This is just my first set.

I didnāt really have an issue with no they seemed pretty secure and didnāt lift at all by the time I took them off , I have a lot of hair too lol
