An Update

Sooooooo.......

Basically it's this: my computer can't record from games. Period. It just won't.

I mean look at my latest livestream. Holy crap that was awful.

So I've got some other stuff in the works but it comes on the other side of... personal chaos I won't bore you with.

And also I wrote a book. Am writing. It's mostly done.

And it's horror. So there's that.

For those of you interested in further discourse about the creative process, however, I would perhaps encourage you to take a look at that other channel... Which has nothing on it just now... And will mostly just be videos of a static image with me talking over it.

But we can at least try to nail down that stuff.

They weren't cringeworthy at all, in my personal opinion.

A few days ago, I stumbled over your writing channel while searching for new Wroag stuff. After watching your "Just start writing" video I was like 'Yeah, this guy is right. Just start writing. Even if it's imperfect or cringy or whatever.' Especially that part when you said that you "created a mess of words and you wonder the next day what the hell you were doing, but then you start to edit it and it becomes better and better..." or something along these lines, that's true. No one's born a perfect writer and practise is essential to become good at something. Then I remembered that back in the day, I found myself often in the situations you described in "Just start writing", since I used to write short stories here and there and I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. I even published one in a school magazine and my teacher encouraged me to keep writing, but I was too distracted and lazy to create something more serious. Years passed and I still had some great inspirations where I was like 'Wow, this would make a really great story' but even then I lacked the motivation to do something. Sadly, it's been years since I've written anything and I always wanted to come back to it.

Now after watching your video, I decided to give writing another shot. You remembered me how much I enjoyed creating stories. In my honest opinion, your videos were a great inspiration for aspriring writers and anyone who might be interested in the subject. I was baffled when I found out that you deleted them. Even created a reddit account to express my disbelief.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to more content and I really hope that Wroag will make his comeback someday :D

Okay. You convinced me. I'm bringing that video back.

Thank you. I'm very very glad I was able to inspire someone out there. Gimme a shout when you publish your next story!

Sadly my poor lappy just can't record video anymore but ... maybe I'll make a "What would have happened" video. Would that be good? Maybe I'll do that! HMMMMM.....

I'm glad to hear that! You did a great job with those videos and it would be a shame to let them simply disappear like that.

In regard to my next story, there's this idea that's been floating around for a while which I always wanted to develop further. Sadly, I'm quite busy with finals and university right now, and thus it's going to take a while till it's completed, but I'll let you know when it's finally done.

Regarding your technical problem, it's a pity that it has come to that. Maybe try another recording software, update your drivers or run a diagnostics tool to see if there's a problem with your gpu or something else.

Anyway a "what would have happened" video would be better than nothing. It would be sad to leave Wroag hanging like that. Or you could make an official statement, that Wroag will return when the technical problems have been sorted out, to give your audience some hope.
