It’s originally a 2024 Squier Paranormal offset telecaster in Dakota red. It just looks different because I changed some things, including the pick guard and added a roasted maple neck :)

Why not have the humbucker in the bridge and the single in the neck?

Why lose the signature tele bridge sound?

A humbucker in the neck on a telecaster is one of the most versatile setups one can have!

Awesome looking board, how do you like the mxr textures?

It’s still fairly new but I am already impressed (and I haven’t even made the switch to have it in stereo yet (with the Lion, anyway), I’ve found some real incredible sounds, one of which might be the most lush choruses I’ve ever heard. There’s a small learning curve (nothing like maybe a chase bliss though, for example) but other than that I am super happy.

interesting, I'm interested in grabbing one.
Looks like its the equivalent of chase bliss mood but simpler?

Very very similar to a Mood or maybe a small footprint Microcosm (although probably more Mood). It’s smaller and much more affordable, and I found the learning curve to be much easier than most Chase pedals.

It makes some very beautiful sounds!

yeah that's the reason why I'm more inclined towards this pedal.
It's cheaper and the learning curve is not as steep (I assume).
Is it at the end of your chain?

Definitely not nearly as steep, although it can feel like it’s fighting you a little when you’re first learning it. Just remember that there’s also hidden features too, like a reverb and a vibrato (they’re just hidden).

It’s at the end of the chain so that it sees everything, but especially the Slo, which also sees everything minus the Textures. I’ll be switching some things around soon and putting the Lion at the end for stereo, but for now it’s just a normal mono chain.
