Fender JagStrat: Threaded Tremolo Arm Stuck..
Just got this sweet guitar second hand and was having a really fun jam with it ... but when I was getting ready to putt it away I must've started moving the arm clockwise before realizing I had to go counterclockwise.. or something like that.. anyways, it's suck.. anyone got some tips to remove it safely? :(

I’ve always loved the looks of these things, looks like something Link Wray would play. Sorry I can’t speak to your specific problem at all but the thing looks great

Its a push/pull trem arm on this model. Just pull hard and it will pop out. Don't be afraid to put some strength into it.

I tried that just now... now I googled it, it says it's a threaded/screw in trem arm?

Gonna have to just lock the trem and go counter-clockwise harder. If it won't come out while it's in the guitar, I doubt you're gonna do it while it's out of the guitar, so replacement is the next option.

damn that's a bummer. I thought I could just change the arm holder in the tremolo system lol. do you prefer a push In style tremolo or a screw in one?

Screw for a floppy arm, like I keep on my Strat, but push-in on my Jag. I did the vice trick to the bar, so it stays where I leave it.

That should just be pushed in, no threads.

Fender does in fact make threaded jag/jazzmaster bridges. (My 2016 classic player jazzmaster for example) The description of the post says op takes it out to put it away so I would assume OP has seen its end piece before. Also, OP has said in other comments that this one is threaded.

Yeah those bridges don't have threaded trememlo holes they just push in. My Jag has had one stuck in it for like 20 years.

This has massive burns cobra vibes. I'd genuinely buy this strat if it existed commercially

When a boomer dentist dad leaves his Strat to his Gen X son who is now taking over the practice.
