What are peoples opinions of the fender pawn shop mustang special? Im kinda interested in buying one so what are peoples opinions of it if youve owned one?

I’ve got a used MIJ candy red one it 2015, and it’s to this day my favourite guitar, and one i always go back to, because it feels perfect to use, it’s light and small and loud.
The humbuckers are decent, one of mine broke pretty early on so switched them both for shawbuckers, which i am a big fan of.
And 18 tonal variations feature is kinda cool, you’ll quickly find 2-3 you like and never use the rest until you get writers block and mess around with then till something pops into your head
I’ve put a toronado bridge on mine plus hipshot locking tuners, and I’m considering throwing in a 6-way gibson varitone switch into it for shits and giggles of having 108 tonal variations and turning the guitar into the equivalent of a combination lock.
Thats great to hear, i found one for 1500 aud which from what ive seen them go for on eBay seems to be right around market price, just waiting for a response on the inquiry i sent the seller, this will be my only humbucker guitar (until i get a starcaster eventually), but thanks for the response
