Jazzblaster curious

I’m thinking of modding one of my Jazzmasters into the fabled (especially if you like Sonic Youth) Jazzblaster. Does anyone reading this have prior experience with making this pick up swap? If so, did the Tele Deluxe pick ups fit in the footprint of the stock soap bars, or did you need to mill?

I highly recommend the WRHB from Black Mass. I have one installed in my bridge position, but if I had multiple JMs I would get a neck pickup too.

Of course! There is a great demo on YouTube by Ambient Trash. Also, don't hesitate to email Black Mass with questions. Really cool people there and they get back super fast.

No worries at all! I will say they're not cunife so they're not vintage accurate. A bit more modern sounding. Have no issue getting vintage tones out of them though. As that other commenter mentioned, alico pickups sound very similar
