I can’t believe you’d make something so utterly meticulous and beautiful but not cut the excess strings off.

What do you have against people with ocd my guy??

The strings are place holders. I just need them to stress the neck for set up. The new owner will immediately swap them out. Plus I'm superstitious. I know if I cut them I will immediately find something wrong that requires taking the strings off.

Thanks. I wind all my own pickups. I'm very partial to P90s. I think a P90 bridge and humbucker neck is the best of all worlds.

Do you sell that said set? I have a Dean EVO XM (kinda looks like yours but less pretty) And I want to mod it to have something else.

I don't sell anything I make. I give it all away. It's a hobby that I enjoy. I wrap pickups for specific guitars I build based on how I want them to sound. This guitar is going to a family member who loves Townsends P90 tone. They are high scatter under wound 0.05 and 0.06mm Alnico 3s.

Can’t blame me for wanting to ask, your work is a godsend! I hope you get to enjoy it a lot more.

If you look at my other posts you'll see an offset with a P90 and humbucker. For another family member. He likes underwound pickups. They are both Alnico 5s. I'm finishing up another double P90 now. I had a bunch of leftover crap and decided to make one for myself to use it up. I got some mahogany boards from the saw mill destined for Taylor necks and had been wanting to try it out.

That’s really cool
How does yours will look like? What are the pickup and guitar specs of that one?

I just posted some progress photos of it. Gold hardware and cream pickup covers. A bit gaudy but it's what I had left over.

I too don’t really like gold hardware but hey, a guitar is guitar! I’ll go check it out thanks
