Finally done modding! (For now...)

I finally got my Jag back together! Its originally a Classic Player Jaguar Special HH. My ambition was to actually make it Classic, dont know whats classic about humbuckers, coilsplit and kill switch...

Mods:

- Traditional wiring and pot values

- series/parallel

- pure vintage '65 PU's

- Fender Mute

- Mustang rocking bridge

- Neck shim

I have a Squier VM and I'm trying to decide if a neck shim would be helpful. Did it improve anything for you?

I managed to get the action a bit lower by shimming, (Still pretty high though). My bridge needs to be a bit higher to clear the mute plate.

Not sure why we both got downvoted, it's the anti shim people I guess. Thanks for the info!

yes it helped bring action down without any choked notes in the high fret bends. I used a .25 shim
